Laura Woolley

Batten down your coffin lids, the Comedy Goth is in the graveyard!

Laura Woolley is perhaps one of Britain’s first Comedy Gothic Comedians, but don’t let that fool you into thinking that she is too cool to crack her make up and smile.
 
First finding her comedy feet she dipped her dainty size 5 new rocks into the comedy waters in her second year of university and has been thrashing happily, yet hopelessly tragically ever since.

Gigging mostly around Wolverhampton and Birmingham she can bring anyone to tears of laughter as she delivers dead pan lines in her quiet, almost angelically innocent voice such as:
‘Did you know Funeral rearranged is ‘real fun’?’

As well as asking eternally confusing questions… ‘Should acts of God be a disclaimer for condoms?’

She is also a script writer and has currently finished writing her two hander play, Divine Intervention
