Laura Carr is a lively young lady who has been performing stand up over the past year. She recently graced the stage of The Comedy Store in London, sharing the bill with established comedians, including Stewart Lee, Rufus Hound, Paul Sinha and Andi Osho. At just 22 years of age she has charm and wit that is friendly and inviting and her anecdotes are extremely hilarious. From her childhood at a naturist park in Norfolk, to living in London in her late teens, Laura shares the trials and tribulations she faces as a young woman with daring honesty. 2010 will see Laura take her 20minute set up to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where she will be performing in ‘The Shady Rogues’ comedy show, alongside talented comedians Lindsay Sharman and Paul McGarrity. You can find Laura at a variety of comedy nights in London, as an act or MC, including; Up The Creek, Downstairs at the Kings Head, Monkey Business, The Roundtable, Good Times Comedy etc. She is also a regular feature at Mirth control gigs the length and breadth of the UK. “At 22 Laura has a very bright future ahead of her.
