Kevin
Sherwani has been performing and enjoying Stand Up Comedy and Acting for some
time now. He's played various clubs and was part of 2 sell out shows at Edinburgh
a few years ago including "The Bootlegs", "The Valentine Flyguy
show" and "The Stand up Show". He has performed at theatres across
London, at clubs such as the Comedy Store, Banana Cabaret, Mirth Control, The
King's head, Up the Creek and other established venues. He has had some strange
requests including warm up for the "Fraud Monty"- the spoof of the film
the Full Monty. Luckily keeping his kit on. Hosting a few ladies nights in and
around the UK as well as jetting off to Amsterdam and Toronto for comedy nights
in established venues. (won a YUK YUK's new act night) Also Kevin has compered
the main Entertainment tent for 8 hours on the trot at the Croydon Mega Mela last
year. Other theatre shows include compering the new variety show "Bollywood
Nights" which ran through September to November of 2003. Recently he has
just co-hosted the "Asian Music Awards" to be shown on Channel 4 and
Sony TV as well as other satellite channels. The stars of this line up included
Jay Sean, Apache Indian, Raagav, and numerous stars from television and film.

This was also shown at the Drum, Waterman's Art Centre, Southampton Theatre and other venues around the UK "Groom Rishi (Kevin Sherwani) is hardly seen or heard, yet his sexuality ultimately is the nail in the coffin for the ceremony." The Stage review 2004 "Kevin Sherwani and Kavita Kaul make a pleasant and enjoyable couple. Pleasing to watch" The Telegraph "Human Resources" playing Mr Red for the Big Wheel theatre company. This was a hard hitting new drama about Asylum seekers directed by Roland Allen. Radio work includes lots of stints as a breakfast presenter for BBC Network East alongside Adil Ray and Mo Dutta, Before this he was presenting for Radio Asia but was asked to move on to a few stints for other radio stations before starting performing for a theatre tour.
