Jonathan Paylor

Whilst in London Jonathan was managed by Avalon Management, touring regularly on the National Comedy network, supporting the likes of Al Murrey and Sean Lock. After moving to Manchester he was then managed by Rawhide Management in Liverpool. Jonathan also ran two very successfull clubs in Manchester: Lettuce Laugh Comedy at the Slug and Lettuce in Didsbury and Wildcat Comedy in Stockport.

Jonathan obtained a BA in Drama and English at Brunel University in West London whilst also attending Guildhall School of Music and Drama at the Barbican in the City of London, at the same time he obtained many small roles on TV. After graduating he worked for a few months for a Drama group in San Diego, California before returning to London to take a job at the BBC. He worked for the corporation for many years in Research, BBC Radio York, BBC Radio Cumbria , and at archives in Television Centre. After attending the famous Cabaret course at the Jacksons Lane Community Centre in Highgate, with mentors such as Donna Mcphail and Andy Parsons, he then decided to do Comedy full time.
