Jason Freeman

Jason's hyperactive mix of lackadaisical physicality puntuated by edgy, razor sharp observation produces an extremely original and appealing act. He will be recognisable to TV viewers as Steve the Barman in Sky One's hit sitcom Time Gentlemen Please, in which he has starred alongside Pub Landlord Al Murray, Phil Daniels, Julia Sawalha and Emma Pierson.

As a live performer, Jason has enjoyed a great degree of success at the Edinburgh Festival. He has delivered two blisteringly funny stand-up shows at the Fringe and received critical acclaim for his portrayal of sid Vicious in Richard Herring's play Punk's Not Dead. He has appeared in the West End for twelve weeks as Al Murray's special guest and tickled festival goers in Montreal at the Just For Laughs Festival in 2001.

"002 sees Jason hosting Five Go Mad On...an exciting new series for E4/Channel 4 filming extensively in the USA. Other television credits include the British Comedy Award nominated London Shouting (BBC2), The Stand-Up Show (BBC1) and Jenny Eclair's Private Function (Channel 5).
