James first appeared on the open mic circuit in June 2006, He performed consistent 20minute sets at Edinburgh (2007)

He delivers skillfully & meticulously crafted gags & monologues in a predominantly deadpan and sarcastic tone, with brilliantly timed comic pauses that allow the audience to catch up with the fact that he is very, very funny.

Performed at: Gilded Balloon (Edinburgh), The Arts theatre (Leicester sq), Comedy Store, Comedy café, Amused moose (SOHO & Camden), Pear shaped, Laughing horse, Bedford pub Balham. As well as appearing at his local Reading venues; South Street Arts centre & Big Jacks laughter club.
