James Gill

James Gill has been performing stand-up since April 2010, returning from Edinburgh 2011 with a four-star review with The Giants Of Comedy (four stars: The List). He has headlined several open-mic nights in and around London and now performs all over the country. James also excels as a compere, and runs and MCs his own successful semi-pro night, Always Be Comedy in Kennington, south London. A former newspaper columnist, James has also written for BBC Radio Five Live, Channel 4 Radio's The Weekly Show and Jimmy Carr.

James is a finalist in Up The Creek's One To Watch and a semi-finalist in both the Amused Moose Laugh Off (2011) and the Leicester Square New Comedian (2010) competitions. He is a two-time winner of The Cavendish Cup.
