James Everett

James Everett is a comedian, actor and writer. He has been performing professional stand up since 2005 at clubs throughout the UK and has performed along side comedians such as Omid Djalili, Stephen Merchant, Dave Gorman and Reginald D Hunter.James also made a name for himself as founder and resident host of The Porthole Comedy Club, which became a local phenomenon in Kilburn and was voted the Chortle Award winner for Best Small London Comedy Venue 2009. He recently starred in Just Around the Corner which was runner up in TV channel Zone Horror’s short film competition 2009.

It was James' flair for script writing that gained him a place on the Film and Television degree course at the University of Westminster, where he graduated as a Director. His zest for comedy won him Presidency of the Drama Society, with whom he put on much of his own work, as well as Joe Orton's comedy masterpiece Loot, in the Westend.

James Everett's style is ironic and surreal. His off-beat and eccentric persona is definitely on the higher side of the audience brow. However, his interactive energy and lively performance based material provide him with a very versatile appeal.
