Isy Suttie

One of the most innovative acts to emerge on the circuit in recent times, Isy's gloriously silly and twisted songs, stand-up and stories have drawn comparisons with Victoria Wood and Tom Lehrer. As well as the national circuit and the Comedy Network she's a regular at character and sketch nights as one of many singing characters or as one half of accordion-based double act Safe and Sounders.

She was a regular contributor and performer on Radio 1's The Milk Run, and 2006 has seen her working on a Radio 4 show with double act Fordham & Lipson as well as appearances on Radio 4's 28 Acts in 28 Minutes and Mitch Benn's Crimes Against Music.

Nominated as Best Newcomer at the 2005 Chortle Awards, she went onto perform in the prestigious showcase The Comedy Zone at the 2005 Edinburgh Fringe.

At the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe she will perform in Danielle Ward’s Take-a-Break Tales.
