Gerry K

Gerry has come a long way since bursting on the scene a year or so ago. Audiences appear to warm to his 'gangsta' persona immediately they realise he is anything but. He still retains the anecdotal material that served him so well in reaching the final of the Metrolife newcomer final last year but has now added topical and observational material giving a great deal of substance to his act and has seen him appear regularly at Downstairs at The Kings Head and win 'King Gong' at The Comedy Store as well as the lenght and bredth of the country for Mirth Control.

He has now also plucked up the courage to ditch the outfit and appear as himself whilst compering a couple of times on the south coast, a move that prompted the comment; "He's the best compere we've ever had down here" (K1 bar Bournemouth). Gerry is hoping that success in this year's BBC talent competition will mean more TV and radio appearances in the not too distant future.
