Gaz Mackin

A young comic with wry observations and an eye for the absurd, Gaz Mackin cut his teeth on the Bristol open mic scene before moving on to impress in venues across the country.

Noted for raising the energy in a room with his enthusiastic opening, Gaz grabs the audience's attention before slipping into an arid deadpan as he doggedly picks apart the incongruities of modern society, or simply his own misspent youth; with a family as large as it is dysfunctional and an ex-girlfriend who prostituted herself to an ice cream man, he doesn't have far to look for material.

Praised for his relaxed presence on stage and talent for easy banter with audiences, Gaz has also enjoyed success as a compere. Able to confound hecklers with his disarming charm or put them down with sharp retort, he keeps the night lively and fun for the acts and audience alike.

Whether as an act or a compere, a night with Gaz Mackin is never dull.
