Eddie Tyrell

Eddie Tyrell has always loved stand up comedy. From the moment his older brother gave him a bootleg copy of a Bill Hicks tape from the early 90's he was hooked.

Having hated every job he has ever had from being a Telewest Installation Technician to Admin manager for the NHS, Eddie has always wanted to somehow battle his natural laziness and actually do something creative and worthwhile which would save him from what he describes as "the slavery of mind I find myself in daily".

Stand up comedy happened for him more by accident than plan, but from his first gig, he knew he'd found an outlay for all his frustrations with his daily working life and may one day make some money out of something he loves.

Armed with what was a naïve first set, Eddie hit the Northwest comedy circuit running. A great response to his first gig simply encouraged him to go on, with his edgy close to the bone humour, and his surreal hatred for Jessica Fletcher (Murder she wrote) Eddie was taking the local comedy circuit by storm.

With open mic spots, and development as a member of MUCKCOMEDY he was gigging weekly both in Liverpool and Manchester. With a couple of competition wins under his belt and successful gigs at the Manchester
Comedy Store and more booked in Eddie is going from strength to strength as a new up and coming comic.
