“Nuts” - Ross Noble

Background: The eldest son of a Geordie Beef farmer, moved to Glasgow in 1997 to avoid inheriting farm. Farmers smell. Didn't so much get into comedy as trip over it on the way to something else.

First gig at the Edinburgh festival 2000, since then performed 20-minute support slots at many of Scotland’s clubs and some other appearances further a field. Supported many well known performers such as Phil Kay, Ross Noble and Mitch Benn.
The act consists of a collection of a bizarre mix of wild observations, ridiculous songs and idiotic anecdotes.

Gigs

The Crazy Ape Comedy Club: 20 minute Support slot on the opening night, 2 further support slots since, and a booking as a headline act.

The Stand Comedy Club, Glasgow and Edinburgh: Numerous slots supporting Comedians such as Jack Russel

Madcap Comedy Club, Glasgow: Several support slots during regular nights and as part of the Glasgow Comedy festival.

The Buzz Club, Manchester: 20 minute slot as part of a variety show in aid of a local charity.

The Comic Club at Blackfriars: 2 gigs supporting comedians from the national circuit.

Canvas Comedy Club, Arta: Support slots last March and August
