David Jesudason

Leicester Square New Comedian of the year semi-finalist, Olympia New Comedy Act finalist and King Gong winner, David Jesudason has clocked up more than 300 gigs in just over two years of comedy.

David Jesudason is a comedian who was born in Luton (officially the crappiest town in the UK) and was brought up in Dunstable (white suburb of the crappiest town in the UK). His name in Yiddish means "car sticker" and in Hebrew translates as "elephant nose". Although some hail him as the new messiah, David Jesudason is a practising atheist who does agree with all the principles of Christianity except the believing in God bit. David Jesudason has been gigging for a year but has recently upped his workload and can be seen at any gig that requires a young Asian Joan Rivers. However, so far no one has been interested in filming him for a documentary.

 Here's what people say:

Trevor Lock: "'David Jesudason is a fearless new talent whose refreshingly spikey up-to-date material is delivered with a cheeky glint in his eye, easily engaging the audience with whom he is very comfortable conversing."

Kenny Campbell (Stand-up London): "David seems at home on stage, where his easy confidence and charm are backed by really excellent material."
