You might not have heard of Dave Bloustien, but if you've watched any  Australian TV in the last five years  then you've probably heard one  of his jokes. Dave was part of the award-winning writing team on  ABCTV's The Glass House, as well as vaudeville oddity The Side Show,  the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's  Great Debates, Good  News Week and more.

As a stand-up comedian and improvisor, he's performed in comedy  festivals in five out of six Australian states, as well as in London,  San Francisco, Zambia and beyond. He's also quite possibly the only  comedian in Australia with a fully functional PhD, so his pants are  certifiably smart.

In 2008, Dave will be taking his show Beastly to Edinburgh, as part of  the Free Festival.
