Dan Mitchell

Dan Mitchell started his career in comedy in 2003, after realising that the only way out of the mundane world he lived in was by using deep baritone voice, twisted imagination and a microphone.

Since moving to Cardiff he has established himself as one of the most popular up and coming acts in Wales and the West, even running his own stand up evening at the Pen and Wig pub.

Dan's good natured humour on subjects as diverse as epilepsy, impressing the ladies and evil caterpillars, have helped him get to the semi finals of the laughing horse competition twice and earned him the "Best Epileptic Comedian from West Wales called Dan" award at the 2004 Wales comedy awards.

Dan is also part of a double act with Frank Honeybone, entitled "Eggy Evans Sweaty Display". Together they combine elements such as stand up, sketches,
game shows into one sweaty, egg shaped evening of entertainment.

Whether as an act or as a compere, the sheer power and energy of Dan's performance demands the audience's attention and always leaves them laughing, sated and a little bit moist.
