Dan
Cardwell
Dan Cardwell is a stand-up storyteller, a man whose life seems to be a
badly written sitcom with him as the loser protaganist. Beginning his
comedy career writing comedy scripts for TV shows and films, but never
quite getting there, Dan has seen Keith Chegwin naked, headbutted an
Oscar Winning Actress and had an unfortunate run in with Emu.
Since taking his life to the stage, Dan has been laughed at up and down
the country from many a circuit gig to playing festivals such as
Beautiful Days and Endorse it in Dorset, to playing the Edinburgh
Festival at various gigs and this year (2010) sees him debut his first
full-length show, The Man Who Was Nearly There, at the Manchester Comedy
Festival.
Dan also runs a number of gigs in Kent that have been running for the
last 3 years.
