Christine Edwards

Christine started gigging in February 2003 having reached that interesting age and with HRT looming she decided to try alternative therapy and threw herself into the comedy circuit, since then she has beend escribed as Margaret Thatcher on speed, the Saucy Secretary and regularlyf rightens the life out of people under the age of 30 who immediately realise she could be their Mum.

Christine is not new to performing as she spent several years performing at Theatre Dinner Evenings and Murder Mystery Evenings which relies heavily on improvisation skills a very useful tool for stand up comedy. Christine has a classically trained soprano voice which she uses throughout her act she says "Well it worked for Harry Secombe so why not me!!"

Christine is a regular at the Comedy Store Gong Show and says she loves it as she can't resist a challenge - she is weird.
