Chris Cairns has had quite a year. He has become a dad, he has bought a house, he has started working with children and he has been revelling in his award as Liverpool Comedian of the Year. His turnover of material is incredible with topical gags featuring heavily in a set that covers Liverpool¹s Capital of Culture award, the joys of childbirth and what passes for real romance in Toxteth. Chris has bags of charm and a natural enthusiasm which makes him irresistible to audiences and while not looking very quick on his feet, he more than makes up for it with his speed of thought. His spontaneity and improvisational skills have created a demand for him as a compere. Chris has gained a reputation for being able to handle the toughest of rooms with his sharp put downs and fine eye for a cutting remark. He is a regular compere at Rawhide in Liverpool and is known all over the North west as a friend to the audience but a deadly foe to the heckler.
