Brian is a quick witted comedian with the ability to play, banter and chat with an audience.
Since 1997 he has performed in venues from the Edinburgh fringe to the Comedy Store Leicester Square, has been a regular MC and performer with Paramount Comedy as well as resident MC for The Clock Inn for Comedy, working along side the likes of Dave Gorman, Ed Byrne and Peter Kay.
His work varies from 20 minute stand up sets, impressions and songs to more bespoke commissions including after dinner speaking and sets written and customised for individual clients.
His ability to improvise (he is a member of the Whose Turn is it Anyway improv. group) means that he is comfortable in all performance environments business, corporate, theatre or comedy club.
As well as stand up, his portfolio for 2011 featured sketch writing for BBC’s Newsjack, and a topical weekly writing and recording schedule for the Pod Delusion, pod cast.
Brian made his directorial debut in 2011 with Blackadder at the Chrysalis theatre in Milton Keynes.
He then premiered as Albert Steptoe in the first stage adaptation of three of Galton and Simpson’s episodes of Steptoe and Son. It played to sell out audiences, with Galton and Simpson attended the opening night together with the BBC’s news crews and reporters.
He also performed in the world premier of three stage version plays of Ripping Yarns with special permission from Michael Palin and Terry Jones of Monty Python fame.
