Brett Reylander is an actor and scriptwriter who grew up in Hertfordshire, England. After leaving school he studied Law at Southampton Solent University, before going on to do a course in Nanomedicine at the University of Oxford, but his real love has always been for acting.
He has had a flourishing acting career since his first appearance in the ITV TV show, Cone Zone, in 1995. Since then he has regularly appeared in some of the best known and most iconic shows of the past few decades of British television, including the ever popular Holby City, Midsomer Murders, Grange Hill, London’s Burning, The Vice and The Bill.
His versatility as an actor has meant that comedy shows like Trigger Happy TV, Smith & Jones and ChuckleVision have also featured among his credits, while serious documentaries 5th Gear and charity work like Children in Need also form part of his work.
When he has time to himself, Brett enjoys unwinding by riding horses and playing polo. He also owns and drives classic cars, collects antiques and is currently taking helicopter flying lessons.
His hopes for the future are to have some of the scripts he has written commissioned, which could see him take on a whole new role on the other side of the camera.
