Ben Smith

A pessimistic, but hopeful combination of anti-comedy, word play and puns from a man who doesn’t really belong in the “real” world.

Ben Smith has been performing stand-up comedy for 3 years now across London and East Anglia.  He has performed in hour-long shows at the last two Edinburgh Fringe festivals and has had the pleasure of supporting Pappy’s Fun Club at Norwich Arts Centre.  He has been the Number one “Top Pick” on the Loaded Laftas competition website for the last three months, and will be resident compeer at The Comedy Treehouse in Croydon.

Interesting Facts about Ben Smith # 1:  Ben was almost "accidentally" killed by Gamesmaster presenter, Dominic Diamond... twice... in two different continents.  FACT.

Interesting Facts about Ben Smith # 2:  Ben recently missed his flight back to London from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival because he'd been detained by Anti-Terrorist Police. Apparently, he should have mentioned that he had a replica firearm in his suitcase.  FACT.

Interesting Facts about Ben Smith # 3:  Growing up, Ben was regarded as somewhat of a child genius. He actually took a degree in English Literature when he was only 12 years old... He failed miserably. NOT FACT.
