Barnaby Slater

Barnaby is making a name for himself as a sharp gag-smith, story-teller and naturally spontaneous MC. In just his third year of performing stand up, he has already spent a year learning his trade and wooing audiences in New York and Los Angeles, before coming back to London to start climbing the UK comedy ladder. Versatile and quick thinking - Barnaby manages to pull off even the darkest of gags with a poise and charm that allows the audience to understand where he's coming from and feel comfortable in his world.

Barnaby is currently performing weekend 20 spots at The Comedy Cafe in London as well as all over the UK circuit, and also performs regularly at The Comedy Store London and Manchester, as well as at The Empire in Belfast, Komedia in Brighton and Ginglik, Jongleurs, Up The Creek, The Kings Head, The Phoenix Club and many more. Barnaby also hosts cabaret nights every month at Madame JoJo's and Volupte in London. Barnaby has performed regularly in America at The Comedy Store, The Improv in LA and the Upright Citizens Brigade LA and New York.

Barnaby hosts a web-series called 'The Question on Everyone's Lips' where he aims to ask celebrities the one question they've never answered in public before. So far guests on the show have included David Baddiel, Angus Deayton and Clive Anderson.

Barnaby also sings lead vocals in up-and-coming comedy band 'Swamp Donkey Soundsystem', described by some as a mix of everything you loved in the 80's, and everything you hate about two men shamelessly wearing make up.
