Barnaby J. Thompson

Barnaby J. Thompson has been performing his poetry in his native Latvia since the age of 5. In Latvia he was seen, through his performances, as a sort of shamanic figure; guiding the audience, through metaphor and hypnotic states into areas of their subconscious they dare not travel alone and was lauded as a possible messiah.
 
When he came to England and translated his work and performances accordingly, instead of the mass hysteria and trance states he was used to inducing in audiences all he got was laughter and mocking derilement.
 
It has been his mission ever since to break down these childish pschological defences that British audiences put up to resist hm penetrating their psyche.
