Andy has been on the circuit since January 2005, since which time he has clocked up - owing to his willingness to travel almost anywhere - a large number of gigs. As well as having held residencies as compere at 2 Off The Kerb venues, Andy runs Lunacy Comedy - based in Stoke-on-Trent. By the start of 2006, there will be at least 5 gigs running regularly under the Lunacy umbrella. Andy has done corporate work, written for local radio, had articles published in various magazines, and as a stand-up is now gigging almost exclusively as a paid 15-20 act. He has also headlined some of the smaller gigs around the North of England. With jokes ranging from one-liners to drawn out anecdotes, and subjects touching on topics from quirks of the English Language to his own Christianity, Andy is quickly finding a unique voice for his comedy. Add to this his super-strong stage presence, and you have a very exciting, promising act.
'Pleasingly skewed anecdotes, with an instantly likeable on-stage demeanour.' Anthony J. Brown, The Caper Club 'Frightening potential!' Chuckling Pig Comedy 'A finely executed set.' City Life 'Top Notch!' ManchesterComedy.com "One to watch from the emerging generation of stand-ups. Smart, witty and novel observations delivered with great like-ability from a very strong performer who effortlessly gets the crowd on his side and then splits theirs." Toby Hadoke, XS Malarkey 'His bright and breezy stage presence lifted the room!' Ship of Fools Comedy Club 'Cracking
material, and a loveable persona. We think Andy has what it takes to go all the
way!' Cross-Rhythms FM |
