Abi Roberts

Abi Roberts dived into the shark infested waters of stand-up comedy in January 2006. Last heard shouting 'We're going to need a bigger boat!', she has gigged all over London. Venues include: The King's Head, Crouch End, The Queen's Head, Piccadilly, The Polar Bear, Lisle St, China Town, Out of the Box, Kingston with Mitch Benn headlining, The Wheatsheaf, Rathbone Place, Turnmills, Clerkenwell. She beat the gong at the Comedy Store her first ever time there and was offered 5 mintues. She was then offered 10 minutes by Don Ward (owner of the Comedy Store). Compering includes: Canal Cafe for Hutch Comedy (line up included Simon Farnaby). Fashion shows at various high profile clubs in the West End. Too Too Much, Soho.

Abi has just returned from NYC where she has been doing stand-up. She made her debut at the Ha! Club just off Times Square.

She perfomed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2006 in a stand-up show called 'About as Funny as it gets' alongside Tom Clutterbuck and Karl Edrik.

TV credits include: The Comedy Lab, Channel 4, The Richard Hammond 5 o'clock show (ITV1).

Film credits include: The Good Ship Citizen (Outlaw Films) with Vic Reeves, Driven (Earthbound Pics) with Gary Beadle.

Abi is currently writing her one woman show, Di and Me which will preview in London before going to the Edinburgh Festival 2007.
